Horyzonty, as a sending organization, was leading the another day with Bogusia (coordinator) and Arantxa (EVS from Spain) the pre-departure training for all the future volunteers that are leaving for their project.
We were talking about all the aspects that involves EVS, like
-the process that has follow the project, making clear the responsabilies of everyone (sending organization, hosting organization, coordinator, mentor...).
- Diferences between mentor and coordinator
- Possible situations that can appear and how to manage to solve the conflicts
- Culture shock
- Their fears (though the amount of contributios and expectations were more :-)
- What is Youthpass
And finally, as I'm doing the EVS here, I was explaining my experience here, my recommendations and all their curiosities and questions that they have.
